The Macarthur Health and Medical Research Symposium was an opportunity for clinicians and students working at Campbelltown and/or Camden Hospitals to present their research or quality assurance projects. The Symposiom was recorded and provides an opportunity to learn about the diversity of health and medical research being conducted in Macarthur, develop research expertise, and find out about the upcoming Macarthur Medical Research Centre.

The program included an overview of the Macarthur Medical Research Centre (MMRC) with a focus on key areas of research which include Indigenous Health, Diabetes, Addiction Medicine and Paediatrics. (Mental Health is the fifth key area). Specific research projects were described in oral and poster presentations and the last session consisted of skill development presentations related to Ethics applications, Research support from the Library, Recruiting for clinical trials, Co-designing research with CALD communities and Maximizing research impact.
