ACADI grant won

In January 2022, the Australian Centre for Accelerating Diabetes Innovations (ACADI) was established through the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF). Led out of the University of Melbourne, ACADI will deliver novel interventions for timely diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diabetes and its complications with access to clinical evaluation, leadership and networks, research commercialisation experience and workforce training.
 
ACADI will fund two WSU-led projects in Peripheral neuropathy and diabetic foot syndrome:
1.      2022-2025, $400,000  A subperceptual stochastic resonance electrical stimulation (“Feeling Aid”) device
