Procedure
- Identify the need for a specific patient information handout
- Consider external patient handouts or Liverpool Hospital’s Patient information catalogue for your new specific need handout
- Does the external/Liverpool handouts up to date, evidence based and meets your needs
- Decide to either use external patient handout; Rebrand an existing Liverpool patient handout; make your own patient handout.
- Work out who will develop the handout and coordinate/develop the new patient handout.
- Once all decisions made register your new patient handout on the registration form (link needed) and send to PiHD (link needed) team.
