NSW Health Artificial Intelligence Taskforce" Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the potential to drive transformative change in healthcare and is already doing so in many ways. At NSW Health, several AI initiatives are already in place helping us to do things like deliver better wound care, simplify complex data analysis, save time by automating repetitive processes or reviewing volumes of cardiology literature to aid in clinical decision-making, and much more. As we continue to harness the potential and innovations associated with AI, NSW Health also remains committed to managing risks as well as maximising the benefits. Following an expression of interest process, a dedicated NSW Health AI Taskforce has been established to help inform and guide the use of AI in the public health system. Comprising approximately 25 subject matter experts and senior leaders from across NSW Health, the AI Taskforce will be supported by working groups to develop an AI Framework for release in 2024. The Framework will encompass important elements such as governance, communication, skills and capability, assets and intellectual property, data governance, and align with national and state government frameworks."
