The APRN is a network of Australian paediatricians who are keen to contribute to new research that is relevant to both public and private practice. The network is the first of its kind in Australia. It builds research capacity by involving more clinicians in research activities and enhancing recruitment for community based research projects.

Sydney children's hospital network was formed in 2010. The Network's leadership group has established a solid corporate and strategic platform to enhance clinical care, further groundbreaking research, invest in education and training of the health workforce and advocate for a healthy future for children in NSW and beyond.
