Proquest includes over 8,000 titles covering Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, Health Management, Mental Health and Public Health.
To set up alerts to one of these titles first open the Proquest database. You will need to login via Athens if you are not on an SWSLHD device.
Note that CIAP also includes some Proquest databases and journals and you will need to use two different My Research accounts with different username/ email addresses for each.
Select Publications from the top menu:
You can search for a specific title, keywords in the journal titles or browse by subject.
When selecting a title for alerts make sure it is a current one i.e. holdings continue to present.
From the journal page choose 'Create alert'
The alert window gives you various options. You have to enter your preferred email address for the alerts.
An email will be sent to you to confirm your eTOC alert and you will need to confirm you want it. You will now receive the table of contents for this journal and will get a reminder when it is about to expire.
